Yesterday, the ninth Congress of Technical Science Students, titled „Bearers of Technological Development,” began in Zlatibor with the support of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, University of Belgrade. The congress will run until March 6, 2023, gathering over 300 students, professors, and company representatives.

Miloš Petrašinović, an assistant at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and chief engineer at PR-DC, gave a lecture on the importance of knowledge and innovation. „Knowledge is your most important capital for the future", emphasized Petrašinović.

Connecting science and industry is key to developing products like drones, which are used in the military, transportation, healthcare, and other industries. „Drones are the future, and our company is an example of how innovation can create products of real value,” said Petrašinović.

Petrašinović encouraged students, highlighting that the industry is eagerly awaiting their skills and knowledge. „The industry awaits you with open arms. Take advantage of the opportunities that come your way”, concluded Petrašinović

Over 300 students from Serbia, professors from the University of Belgrade, and company representatives are attending the congress. For young academics, it represents a key extracurricular opportunity to learn about new developments and achievements in science, establish direct contact with participating companies, and learn about their work and professional opportunities.

The congress was first organized in 2014 at the initiative of students, aiming to further educate young academics, whose knowledge will be crucial for the development of Serbia's economy.
