PR-DC at the Technical Fair: We Aim to Enhance Innovation in Our Country
PR-DC is showcasing its innovations at the 64th International Technical Fair and Technological Achievements in Belgrade, held under the slogan „Innovations Before Your Eyes”. This prestigious fair, focusing on the latest advancements in industrial technologies, digitalization, and Industry 4.0, has drawn significant attention, particularly at Hall 3 of the Belgrade Fair, where PR-DC's drones are the center of interest.
„After several international fairs, it’s finally time to present to the domestic audience what we’ve been working on for the past two years. For the first time at a fair, we display over two-thirds of our program—from IKA Mini to IKA 1, IKA 20, and IKA 50. These drones can carry heavy payloads. Having had the opportunity to compare ourselves with global competition, I can proudly say we’ve achieved an excellent balance between flight time and payload capacity,” says Miloš Petrašinović, one of the owners and engineers at PR-DC.
Petrašinović emphasizes that all the products exhibited at the fair are entirely made in Serbia—from concept to realization, which was nearly unimaginable a few years ago. „We often encounter disbelief that our drones, equipped with highly advanced technologies, are 100% Serbian-made. This fact motivates us further and opens new opportunities. Last week, we signed an agreement with the Faculty of Transport at the University of Belgrade, and last year with the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering. We want to connect young innovators and further enhance innovation in our country,” adds Petrašinović.
PR-DC’s IKA series drones are named in honor of the late Professor Ilija Krivošić from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Belgrade, who played a crucial role in educating many successful Serbian aviators. The company aims to ensure that Professor Krivošić’s name, now symbolized by IKA, is permanently etched into the history of aviation.
„We invite all our fellow citizens to visit us at the technical fair and see firsthand the progress of our engineers. I promise they will not be disappointed and leave with the best impression. There is also a flying car, which has already become a hit among younger visitors, and a flight simulator for the brave,” says Petrašinović.
The International Technical Fair and Technological Achievements opened yesterday at the Belgrade Fair and will run until Friday, May 27. The fair’s concept focuses on innovations and new technologies, the factories of the future, industrial automation, electro-energy, and energy infrastructure.
