The Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Belgrade and the company PR-DC formalized their strategic partnership today. This collaboration will enable joint efforts on projects, international conferences, research, and modifying educational programs.
PR-DC, founded by former faculty students, specializes in developing unmanned aerial vehicles and drones. The goal of this partnership is to enhance education and provide students with practical experiences.
„We are immensely pleased to institutionalize our partnership with our alma mater. We look forward to contributing our experience to better prepare future engineers for the challenges that await them after graduation,” stated representatives of PR-DC.
Gabrijela Grujić, Assistant Minister of Education for Dual and Entrepreneurial Education, emphasized the importance of rapid knowledge transfer and the merging of theory with practice. „This agreement is a prime example of how we can enable young people to be innovative and develop their critical thinking in a stimulating environment,” Grujić said.
Bojana Krstić, Head of the Innovation Service at the Serbian Chamber of Commerce, added that linking science and industry creates a clearer perspective for young scientists while simultaneously providing companies with prepared innovators for the modern technology market. „This agreement demonstrates how faculties can contribute to creating synergy between science and industry,” Krstić stated.
Radivoje Mitrović, Dean of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, who was present at the signing of the agreement, expressed his satisfaction that the collaboration with PR-DC will contribute to the global recognition of Serbian innovations.
